On Feb. 21st 2017, the qnp group presented to the general public the topic “Communication with light”, as a part of the “Week of Light” event at the
dome of visions
.
Professor Val Zwiller contributed with a talk on the topic describing the history of communication with light and relating it to recent research efforts at KTH. PhD students Thomas Lettner, Lucas Schweickert, Katharina Zeuner and Julien Zichi were participating as well by providing and demonstrating an interactive exhibition that visitors could try out.
We were happy about the active participation of the visitors and hope that we could give some insight into our work.
Planning and building the interactive demo was interesting (and fun!) and we were glad to see that the visitors showed great interest.
